May is Wildfire Awareness Month

Everyone needs to work together to keep our state green. And now through June 30, you can join fellow Oregonians who are giving to Oregon Conservation Corps and supporting programs that train our state’s youth to prevent devastating wildfires.

“If we’re not spending it beforehand, then we’ll be spending during a fire,” says Jennifer Case of the Oregon Department of Forestry. “And that’s a lot of money.”

For every $1.00 spent on forest restoration, $5.70 in economic value is generated and $1.45 is saved in future fire-fighting costs. That’s a +700% return on investment.

You can make this investment. You can help protect our state from wildfire. Donate to the Oregon Conservation Corps today!
